SUMMARY:Generational Theory: The Good, The Bad, and The More Helpful
DESCRIPTION:\n	\n \n This program takes place online via Zoom meeting. Registrants will receive access to the recording afterward.\nABOUT THE PROGRAM\nFor over a century sociologists have posited that the population can be divided into cohorts with distinctive characteristics based on birth year. In this interactive workshop, we will outline the characteristics of the six living generations and explore how generational theory can be helpful to church leaders as well as its limitations. Drawing on the work of Josh Packard (Future of Faith), we will offer alternatives to generational theory which may be especially helpful when working with Gen Z and Gen Alpha. This workshop will include presentation time, small group conversations, and a Q&A.\n\n \n	\n\n
