The 2022 Costan Lectures will explore the experimental way in which early Christian theologians approached some of the enduring conundrums of Christian life and thought. The lectures will be held over three days, from Tuesday, March 1 through Thursday, March 3, 2022.

About the Lecturer
Kathryn Tanner, Ph.D. makes creative use of the history of Christian thought and interdisciplinary methods. Her work addresses current socio-political issues from a Christian point of view. Dr. Tanner’s most recent book is Christianity and the New Spirit of Capitalism (Yale, 2019).
