The Faith-filled Families initiative imagines what happens when parents and community work together to form children’s faith. The creation of this powerful synergy can deepen the faith of the adults. This transformative collaboration can create for the children a sense of belonging, promote positive values and social skills, and create a culture of inclusivity and tolerance within the community.”

About the Initiative:

Faith-filled Families (FfF) is a five-year grant awarded to VTS by Lilly Endowment Inc. through their new Christian Parenting and Caregiving Initiative. Our leadership team has chosen to focus our work on congregations with preschools. Through this grant we will enrich religious education in church preschools and congregations by equipping teachers and parents/guardians with Christian practices for faithful living in daily life. By nurturing the spiritual formation of parents and families in an ecology of school, congregation, and home, Christian faith and traditions will be transmitted across generations forming disciples of all ages.
