Auditor Program
The Auditor Program is designed for those interested in taking master’s level courses at the Seminary without enrolling in a degree program or receiving credit. This option is designed for alumni, clergy, and lay leaders seeking continuing education opportunities.
Students who already have earned a bachelor’s degree may apply to be an Auditor, a status that would entitle one to take one or two courses per semester (up to 3.0 audit hours). This would not, however, constitute admission to a degree program.
Applications for the fall semester must be submitted no later than August 15, by December 15 for January Term, and by January 15 for the spring semester. There may be limitations on the number of Auditors admitted, and the courses in which they are permitted to enroll. Status as an Auditor is reviewed annually and is subject to renewal. If you wish to apply, please submit our online application here! Once your application materials have been received, you will be contacted to arrange for a brief, informal interview with the Director of Admissions.
If you are accepted as an Auditor, you will receive a letter notifying you of your acceptance and will then be able to register for classes through the VTS Registrar. Tuition for Auditors is at the rate of $150 per “audit” hour.
