CACS is pleased to introduce Vívian Liz de Lima Ail, one of twelve Brazilians who took part in the Anglican Young Leaders Leadership Training Course. Today, we present her reflections in both Portuguese and English.
Please enjoy Vívian’s commentary!
This past weekend we put into practice the idea of unity among the young people participating in the Youth Leadership course, where over three months we discussed each other’s experiences and studied ways to better practice our leadership, and in person we were able to exchange our experiences and learnings. With the idea of unity and active listening that guided our weekend, we were able to listen to each other and help each other organize our projects, and see the final result with beautiful and powerful project designs.
This time of joint organization with my brothers and sisters was very important to think more clearly about how my leadership impacts people, and how I can apply it better in the contexts in which I am involved.
