ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Dive into the vibrant intersection of faith and identity with this four-week course taught by Dr. Eric Thomas of General Theological Seminary.
Using a systematic approach, participants will examine traditional theological concepts through the inclusive lens of queer perspectives in order to gain a deeper understanding of diversity within religious discourse.
Participants will uncover marginalized voices and narratives through Queer Scriptures and supplementary readings, attendees will uncover marginalized voices and narratives, thereby enriching their understanding of spirituality.
The course also will critically explore the embodiment of faith in order to empower individuals to reclaim the sacredness of the body and its manifestations within religious contexts.
Discussions about activism and ecclesiology will provide attendees with valuable insights into how to foster inclusive communities.
