ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Family Systems Theory for Ministry will provide an accessible introduction to Bowen Family Systems Theory.

Key concepts such as anxiety, emotional triangles, self-differentiation, and systems thinking will be covered.

Participants will explore how emotional processes impact leadership and relationships in congregational and ministry settings through the lens of the theory.

The course will also includes opportunities to apply theory to real-life situations and to reflect on one’s own family and ministry system in a supportive learning community.
