ABOUT THE PROGRAM
How can soulful practices help us slow down and connect to our own internal wisdom? How can creative, evocative, and even playful practices – sourced from various spiritual traditions – support wellbeing in these times of isolation and disconnection? In this 60-minute workshop, the Our Own Deep Wells Collective invites you to engage in three soulful practices together and reflect upon their value for resilience. In this interactive workshop, you will learn about our repertoire of soulful practices as well as how to lead them in your own context. Come rest in community while learning about our ongoing work of connection and resistance.
The Wednesday Workshops, presented by Forma and the Lifelong Learning team at Virginia Theological Seminary, are engaging, hourlong sessions designed to equip ministry leaders with practical tools and techniques for effective ministry. These workshops provide hands-on learning opportunities across a variety of topics, fostering growth and innovation in ministry contexts. Whether you’re seeking fresh ideas, actionable strategies, or a chance to connect with others in ministry, the Wednesday Workshops offer a dynamic space for learning and collaboration. Perfect for clergy, lay leaders, and anyone passionate about strengthening their ministry, these sessions are a valuable resource for transformative ministry in today’s church. These workshops are free for Forma members.
