This week readers of the Dean’s Commentary will hear from the core team that makes up the Dean’s Office staff at Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS).
The dean’s office at VTS is more than an administrative hub – it’s a place where hospitality, service, and seamless coordination come together to support our mission. At the forefront is our Guest Relations Coordinator, Ms. Renata Sachs, who ensures that every visitor, from prospective student to distinguished guests, feels warmly welcomed and cared for. Ms. Christina Messenger, welcomes students, staff, faculty, and guests to the Coffield Refectory with a smile and a story. Last but not least, Mr. Reggie Gravina, Technology Coordinator, who manages the complex logistics of meeting and guest room management, alongside handling on-campus IT needs. His organizational skills and proactive communication ensure that every meeting, class, and gathering is supported with excellence.
Together, these roles form the backbone of the dean’s office, embodying the values of service, collaboration, and hospitality that define VTS. If you have the pleasure of interacting with Renata, Abigail, Mackenzie, or Reggie, please do thank them for all they do.
