Last night we met with the visiting team. We had dinner together. We reflected together on the challenges shaping theological education. And we prepared for the work that the team will now do to enhance the educational and formation experience at VTS.
For the team, today is a day of wall-to-wall meetings. Every sector of the Seminary will be touched in the next two days. They will seek to understand the institution from the inside out. I am grateful both to the team, but also to the faculty, staff, and students who will be in those meetings.
External eyes are always interesting. Aspects that I simply live, they will see differently. I am looking forward to their work over the next few days.
