In many ways I have been blessed. The combination of genes and luck has kept me relatively healthy. I have managed to avoid broken bones or major illness. For all this I am grateful.
Yet, some medical complexity comes to all of us in time. So, yesterday, I had a minor procedure and I am taking a few days to recover. My gifted chief of staff, Ms. Taryn Habberley, can always reach out to me if something arises that needs attention. So, please reach out to Taryn if there is anything urgent.
These seasons when things are “not quite right” are reminders of how grateful we should be when “things are right”. So, for those reading this commentary and feeling OK, then do pause and just express your gratitude to the God for the privilege of feeling OK.
