It has been a joy to be in Dallas Texas. Dallas has supported the Seminary for many years. Last night, the team of Vice President Linda Dienno, Vice President Nicky Burridge, Director Shelagh Casey Brown and I were at Saint Michael and all Angels. It was an opportunity to share the news about our work. Many present in the room were consistent and steady supporters of the Seminary; others were entirely new. It was a wonderful evening.
Afterwards, I had an opportunity for an extended discussion with our Board member and the Rector of Saint Michael and all Angels (SMAA), the Rev. Dr. Chris Girata. We talked about ministry post-COVID. We talked about the challenges and opportunities of ministry in this season. We talked about the amazing achievement of SMAA and their very successful capital campaign which is transforming their campus. I was impressed.
Our graduates do amazing work. I marvel constantly as to how well they do this hard work.
