Alumni Hall – Your First Stop!

Date: June 26, 2024

Alumni Hall, 3620 Bishop Walker Circle, is the home base for all things advancement-related. The gorgeous new “Alumni Hall” sign is firmly planted in front of the building, so you can’t miss us. Some of the Dean’s Advisors, the Union for Black Episcopalians (UBE), and the Chancellor for the Presiding Bishop join Institutional Advancement in the building. Alumni Hall holds a wonderful mix of people and programs!

Planning to visit VTS? We invite you to make Alumni Hall your first stop. We’re always ready to welcome you. By October’s Alumni Convocation, we’ll have the class crosses on display (currently housed in the Bishop Payne Library) and a collection of alumni photos spanning the years.

But a VTS journey doesn’t end at Alumni Hall. Relive memories and create new ones by revisiting the Welcome Center, the Chapel and Chapel Garden, and St. Cyprian’s Labyrinth, all easily accessible and with new surprises.  You’ll find a wealth of information about VTS on the main level at the Welcome Center. Venture to the lower level for two unique exhibits: The St. Francis Créche Collection and The St. Nicholas Exhibit. Plan at least two hours to fully immerse yourself in these new experiences.

If time allows, step into the front entry of Aspinwall to view our 90,000+ piece Lego replica of Aspinwall and surrounding administrative buildings. Yes, 90,000+ pieces. Look for the flamingo! Speaking of flamingos, round out your day with coffee, tea, or a baked goodie at the Flamingo, VTS’ gathering spot on the lower level of Addison.

Remember, as Dean Markham says, “Once a part of VTS, always a part of VTS.” So do visit, and please include Alumni Hall on your itinerary!
