OK I freely admit it. I am using the commentary to highlight the number of events that we are holding in the Deanery. The Deanery is spectacular; it is beautiful. And I want to make sure that the space is used. So since it formally opened, we have held events and dinners galore in the Deanery. From the Student Launch of the Class Gift campaign to three dinners for guests of Dust, the Deanery is becoming an effective place for entertaining.
So, it is not surprising that we have two Deanery events this week. And I want to highlight the event on Wednesday evening. The Rev. Dr. Emma Percy is talking about abortion. Dr. Percy is a refreshing voice in the debate. She is good at transcending traditional options.
Deanery events take considerable organization. So I am grateful to Ms. Taryn Habberley – my Chief of Staff – and Ms. Chris Leung – the Dean’s Office Assistant – for their hard work.
