It’s always wonderful to wish our graduating class well as they move on to futures of service to the church and to the world. Students are checking out of dorm rooms and apartments, and campus undergoes a time of renewal as our gaze shifts to the new class which will arrive on campus on August 8th.
AASL is getting ready to welcome 49 (so far!) new students who will be joining us this August 8. They will be coming from dioceses around the Episcopal Church in the US and the wider Anglican Communion-as far and wide as Hawaii, Mombasa, and Jerusalem.
For those wondering about statistics, approximately 84% are Episcopalians, 16% are from other denominational backgrounds. 37% are students of color, and the average age of the incoming class is 44. It is a joy to accompany these new students as they begin their studies! Please keep the incoming class in your prayers as they answer God’s call on their lives and prepare for a faithful future on The Holy Hill!
