One of the things I enjoy most about my role at Virginia Theological Seminary is helping to tell the Seminary’s story through its digital presence. As Web Developer, I work to ensure that our websites are accessible, engaging, and easy to use for everyone who wants to learn more about VTS, whether they are prospective students, alumni, donors, or members of the wider Church.
In addition, I contribute to the design and maintenance of digital and visual materials that support the VTS brand identity, ensuring consistency across typography, layout, and visual elements so that all digital touchpoints reflect the seminary’s mission and values, while also supporting the creation of promotional and communications assets that strengthen how VTS presents itself across different platforms.
I am particularly interested in incorporating an AI-powered future mindset into my work, exploring how emerging technologies can enhance web experiences, improve content workflows, and support more intelligent and efficient digital systems. This forward-looking approach helps to position VTS for continued innovation while maintaining its strong tradition and community focus. My goal is to continuously improve the Seminary’s digital presence by combining thoughtful design, reliable web development, and emerging AI-driven capabilities, to create a more seamless, engaging, and future-ready experience that supports the mission of VTS and strengthens its connection with the community.
