It is a real joy to announce that Terrell Whitaker, Director of Finance and Accounting at Virginia Theological Seminary, has been awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration by George Mason University. The degree was conferred by the Costello College of Business on August 22, 2026, and the handsome framed diploma is now in his office. Everyone at VTS is thrilled for him.
Adding study to an already full life is hard. Terrell carries significant responsibility for the financial health of the Seminary, and that work does not pause for coursework, examinations, and deadlines. Keeping budgets, audits, and daily operations on track while completing a demanding graduate degree takes discipline, stamina, and sacrifice.
This is an amazing achievement. Terrell’s expertise already serves VTS well, and the knowledge and perspective he has gained will strengthen his leadership in the years ahead. On behalf of the entire Seminary community, congratulations, Terrell. We are very proud of you.
