The Rev. Canon C.K. “Chuck” Robertson is both a good personal friend of mine and a valued friend of Virginia Theological Seminary. One of the joys of life at VTS is the chance to make and sustain remarkable connections—and Chuck is one of those. An alumnus of the Seminary, he has served the wider Episcopal Church with wisdom and grace for decades, strengthening relationships and deepening our shared life in Christ.

Join us for the Center for Anglican Communion Studies Forum: “Changes and Challenges in Communion Relations: Past, Present, & Future,” on Tuesday, November 4, from 12:45–1:45 p.m. in the Lettie Pate Evans Room, Addison Academic Center. Canon Robertson, Canon and Senior Advisor to the Presiding Bishop, oversees work with seminaries, supports the Diocese of Haiti, develops new fundraising models, and advances the Presiding Bishop’s ministry across the Anglican Communion. He will offer insight into the Episcopal Church’s evolving relationships across the Communion.

This is a conversation well worth attending. The CACS Forum promises thoughtful reflection and lively discussion with one of the Church’s great bridge-builders. Early registrants will receive a complimentary bagged lunch courtesy of CACS—so sign up soon and don’t miss this rich and engaging event.

The Very Rev. Ian S. Markham, Ph.D.
Dean and President of Virginia Theological Seminary and the President of The General Theological Seminary
