Forma, the network for Christian formation in the Episcopal church and beyond, concluded its annual conference this past Thursday. This year’s conference invited participants to explore rest as a spiritual practice and a form of resistance in a world that relentlessly demands our production. Just under 400 participants, from Hawai’i to the East Coast, engaged in this interactive conference both online through Zoom and on-site at 10 different locations across the country. Participants represented 66 different dioceses and 10 denominations. In addition, the conference included simultaneous Spanish interpretation, expanding accessibility to monolingual Spanish speakers, and set aside $5,000 so that cost would not be a barrier to participation.
We are grateful for the nearly 150 folks who made the conference possible including the conference planning team, volunteer workshop hosts, small group discussion leaders, on-site gathering hosts, our interpretation team from Cenzontle, the 28 workshop and plenary presenters, our 50 diocesan and organizational sponsors, and the staff of Lifelong Learning.
We are thrilled to announce that the next Forma Annual Conference will be held at St. John’s Cathedral in Denver, Colorado from January 26-29, 2026. Subscribe to our newsletter so you won’t miss registration information.
