It was Labor Day when my wife and I made our way to a pharmacy for the latest COVID vaccination. We take the view that we live in a community; we will sit near people in Chapel and lunch; and we should therefore do what we can to protect ourselves and others. The latest vaccination is now available; so, we booked an appointment and went to get the shot.
For some of you, who have had reactions to the vaccination shots, there are understandable reasons why you are hesitant. But for those who are able to get the vaccine, we do encourage you to do so. It is an act of kindness to each other.
COVID is still very much with us. Hundreds of people every day here in the United States are dying from COVID. Getting vaccination is good. And, if you have any worries (for yourself or others around you), then I encourage the act of wearing a mask. This does help. We want you to be well.
