Today I am grateful. I am constantly in awe of our faculty. There is an amazing depth of erudition and commitment amongst my faculty colleagues. They are conscientious teachers and outstanding scholars. It is invidious to just pick one out for praise. However, this is what I would like to do today.
One hears an awful lot of sermons and meditations at VTS. We go to Chapel every day. So, I confess (which is very appropriate for Lent) rarely does a sermon or meditation stay with me. But here I am 48 hours still thinking about those meditations from the Rev. Dr. Altagracia Perez-Bullard. From the image of the cluttered cupboard of shame to the invitation to think afresh about vocation, it was the word that I needed to hear.
