The summer commentaries are amazing. Ms Kimberly Dunn made me tear up as I read her moving journey. I was in awe of Ms. Juanita Sanchez as she documented the hard work of the team in the Butterfly House as they pursue degrees. I enjoyed the music video that was part of the commentary written by Senior Vice President Ballou. And the library week was a reminder just how complicated running a library can be. And these are just illustrative. Every commentary was profound and important.
August has arrived. New students are on the campus. And the commentary reverts back to me. We start a new academic year. I am grateful to Mr. Kurt Ellison, Mr. Dan Coleman, and Associate Dean Rachelle Sam who cultivated this incoming class. It is a good crowd. Thank you Kurt, Dan, and Rachelle for all your hard work.
