Date: November 23, 2020

This morning we returned to Zoom chapel. This is wise. We shared the news with the community that two of our employees have tested positive for COVID. We remember them both in our prayers; and we anticipate and look forward to their rapid recovery. Thanksgiving and a quarantine are a complicated combo. A number of seminarians and employees are trying to decide how best to navigate the next two weeks. We pray that you might have wisdom in the season.  As a country, America is at a pivotal moment. All the signs are that the vaccine is just around the corner; however, we do need to navigate Thanksgiving and Christmas. We need to tread carefully. For some, it might mean that a virtual Thanksgiving dinner might be better than an actual physical one. Let us all strive to keep ourselves and those we love safe. The Very Rev. Ian S. Markham, Ph.D. Dean and President
