More snow

Date: February 13, 2025

Recent winters have been fairly mild. The winter of 2024-2025 is deciding to be the opposite. As one marvels at the beauty of the campus, it is worth taking a moment to be grateful for those who work so hard behind the scenes to keep the campus safe and services provided.

Focus Data Solutions works hard to make sure that the Internet is stable and available. Meriwether-Godsey often have some staff stay on the campus so that they can provide a meal service. Senior Vice President Nicky Burridge coordinates communications so that everyone is informed about the opening schedule; she works closely with the Rev. Dr. Ross Kane and Senior Vice President Jacqui Ballou. And of course the amazing team in Facilities, led by Mr. John Erbe, arrive early and work late. They have a careful system of snow clearing so that people can (provided of course each person moves carefully) make their way around the campus.

A massive thank you to all those involved in this moment. We appreciate you so very much.

The Very Rev. Ian S. Markham, Ph.D.
Dean and President of Virginia Theological Seminary and President of The General Theological Seminary
