Today the Board meeting is happening. It will be the last meeting as student body president for Ms. Stephanie Townes. She will provide a report from the student perspective to the VTS Board. It is an important moment. After all, we exist for the students. Our work is the formation of students. The report from the student body president is an opportunity to learn about our effectiveness in this area.
Stephanie has done the work well. She has chaired the Deans Table carefully and thoughtfully. She has represented student concerns with integrity and clarity. And she has always advocated for the Seminary in various public facing settings.
We present the student body president with a tippet with the VTS shield. I pray and trust she will wear the tippet with pride. The Seminary is proud of her service in this moment.
