My name is Aaron Ross, and I am the student worker for Multicultural Ministries. I am a rising senior here at VTS, a candidate for holy orders in the Diocese of Massachusetts, and an Army Chaplain Candidate with hopes of going on active duty to serve soldiers worldwide as a chaplain.
Before coming to VTS, I was an Enlisted Soldier serving full-time in the Massachusetts National Guard Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Having worked in DEI, I was naturally attracted to the Office of Multicultural Ministries. I am honored to be learning from Dr. Thompson and Ebonee Davis.
Being the son of immigrants, I have learned not only more about myself but also the experience of others that I would not have otherwise. The work of Multicultural Ministries will inform my future ministry in so many different ways.
If you want to learn more about the Office of Multicultural Ministries, please don’t hesitate to contact me at aross@vts.edu. I’m happy to answer any questions.
It is a blessing to be a part of this holy work!
