The Roots & Wings: Intergenerational Formation Collaborative grant team has recently published a new, free resource: The Hallmarks of Intergenerational Worship Toolkit.
Grounded in a robust literature review, the toolkit identifies five foundational characteristics of intergenerational worship, Intentionality, Relationality, Dignified Reciprocity, Flexibility, and Empowerment. Through an assessment survey and resource articles, the toolkit invites a reflective, communal undertaking: assemble a team of diverse ages, take the thoughtful survey, discern together what you already embody and where you are being called to grow.
I commend this toolkit to parish leaders, clergy and lay alike. If you’d like to learn more, consider joining the free workshop offered by the Roots & Wings grant team on Thursday, April 30 from 2:00-3:30pm ET.
