On Sunday I had the privilege of preaching and teaching at the Adult Education hour at Calvary Episcopal Church, in Summit New Jersey. This meant I spent the weekend and the start of this week at The General Theological Seminary in New York.
Now, I confess I tread carefully in disclosing my trips to New York. Everyone knows that I am responsible for two schools; but I am conscious that some are rather critical when I am absent from Alexandria. So, I tend to make the trips without much fanfare.
Today I am trusting that when our affiliation partner does well, then VTS wants to celebrate with them. So prepare yourself dear VTS reader: I am delighted to share the news that “Mr Moore’s gift” – a compelling and beautiful fifteen minute movie – has just been recognized for an award by the Berlin Indie Film Festival. This is international recognition, out of Germany, of the quality of this amazing movie. Well done GTS.
