Toward the end of last week, I checked in on the progress in Bohlen. It is hard work. The water damage was considerable. Ceiling tiles were everywhere. Boxes of files were extensively damaged. Various employees had to be relocated – some to Alumni Hall, others elsewhere in Aspinwall Hall and on other floors in Bohlen.
When disaster strikes, I am always grateful that we have capable employees who immediately begin addressing each challenge. I am impressed by the progress in Bohlen. It is complex work that requires appropriate care and attention. I am also very grateful to all those employees who have been inconvenienced by this problem.
So, thank you to everyone who has been involved. The progress is reassuring. VTS can cope with problems. In fact, we do it rather well.
