Spring Visit Day

Date: March 21, 2025

A long time ago…in a galaxy far, far away…YOU were a prospective student at Virginia Theological Seminary. Do you remember those days? And how it felt to step on campus for the first time? As part of your discernment process for seminary, you may have joined us for a Visit Day, which continues to be offered once per semester. It is a delight and a gift to welcome people from different walks of life at different places in their vocational discernment.

Today, March 21, is our Spring Visit Day. Do join me in offering a warm welcome to prospective students and their families. You never know who you will meet, what kind of conversations you’ll have, or what you might learn about God when you are learning about someone else…especially on this sacred ground.

So as you walk around campus, attend chapel, and go to meals today, pay attention to whom the Holy Spirit is leading you. It just might be someone whose life becomes closely linked with yours over time during your own seminary career and beyond. There is only one way to know, and that way is love. You may access information about Spring Visit Day schedule here.
