Student Theological Symposium and GOE results

Date: February 23, 2024

Yesterday the GOE results were released. This is always a difficult moment. Some will be relieved; others will be anxious. We pray for everyone as they navigate the consequences of this moments. Naturally, Associate Dean Rachelle Sam and I are willing to assist any student who would like help to process this moment.

Meanwhile on Saturday, it is good to see the student organized “Student Theological Symposium” is happening again. It is a rich and imaginative program – Rich Nelson on revolutionary discipleship, Lo Welles on a theological reading of Joshua 1:1-9, Dana Jean on stories that change the world, Thomas Alexander on Conciliar Repair, Aaron Dunn on a new model for Abrahamic Dialogue, Phoebe Jones on Spirituality of Children with complex disabilities, Caroline Mazzocchi on defining inclusivity through a lens of exclusivity within residential faith communities, and Tom Conroy on inside the craft of hymn writing.

This is a fabulous program. All are welcome. Do please come.

The Very Rev. Ian S. Markham, Ph.D.
