I will be taking my vacation this summer. I need a pause from the demands of my position. I will enjoy a different pattern for a week or so. Vacation is important.
I love my work: every day I awake and thank God for the privilege of this work, even if there are days when I wish some of the challenges are easier. But I also love the pauses. I love the days when I am somewhere else, where I sleep a little longer, take a stroll, walk the dog, play a round of golf, and watch TV in an afternoon – just because I can.
Everyone should take some vacation. We have many committed employees. We appreciate your commitment. But you will return refreshed and more relaxed, if you simply grant yourself the rest that body and the soul so desperately needs.
