The 2026 Holy Week Experience Results

Date: April 20, 2026

You sign up to receive messages through Holy Week. The messages follow the format of news release – Breaking News: Jesus is entering Jerusalem. It invites the user to pause and remind oneself afresh of the significance of the journey of Holy Week. I was just one of many. The 2026 Holy Week Experience was a meaningful success, reaching 6,871 subscribers and delivering 285,528 messages. Feedback from 910 respondents showed an average experience rating of 4.71 out of 5, with 61% joining for the first time. Even more encouraging, 89% said the message frequency was “just right,” showing that the pace connected well with participants’ daily lives.

The program also met its spiritual purpose in a powerful way. Eighty-eight percent said the texts helped them stay connected to the Holy Week story during busy schedules, and 70% reported that the experience deepened their faith or understanding. That kind of response reflects more than engagement; it points to real encouragement, reflection, and spiritual growth.

What stands out most is how accessible and relevant the content felt across traditions. Ninety-seven percent of users said the messages fit their specific faith tradition, making the program a gift of connection to the wider church. It is a strong example of how simple, thoughtful communication can support personal reflection and shared faith during one of the most important seasons of the year. Congratulations to the Rev. Canon Dr. Lorenzo Lebrija, Chief Innovation Officer, Virginia Theological Seminary & Executive Director of TryTank Research Institute.
