Saying farewell to a member of the VTS community is never easy. Especially for someone so integral to the Seminary as a whole. Please join me in wishing Elizabeth Panox-Leach a fond farewell as tomorrow is her last day before she begins her new role at Dumbarton Oaks, part of Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, as Communications Manager.
Elizabeth came to VTS in 2017 as the Communications Associate and later became the Communications Manager. Upon her arrival, she quickly went to work identifying what we were doing, what we should be doing, and what could be done better. Two of her significant accomplishments while in the Communications department were the re-branding of the Seminary and the complete overhaul of the website. She then joined Lifelong Learning as the Manager of Digital and External Affairs. In addition to the myriad of accomplishments here at VTS, Elizabeth also serves on the Board of Episcopal Communicators.
We are excited for her; we are grateful for everything she has done; and we wish her all the best in the future. Please join me in thanking Elizabeth for her service to VTS and wishing her a fond farewell by coming to the Flamingo at 3:30 p.m. today.
The Very Rev. Ian S. Markham, Ph.D.
