The joys of Fall break

Date: October 16, 2026

It is not long, but it is a pause. A few days. A pattern is broken as you linger a little longer over coffee in the Flamingo. The Fall break is a gift. It is welcome.

The theology of sabbath is a theology of the pause. It is when you step back and recognize what really matters. So much of our lives are taken up in the immediate and, to be honest, the ephemeral. The pause helps us focus on the eternal, the enduring, what truly matters.

Enjoy Fall break. You deserve it.
