Today we have the GTS Investment Committee meeting. On Wednesday, the VTS and GTS Community Life Committee will convene. On Tuesday, October 28, we have the VTS and GTS Buildings and Grounds Committee. Behind the calm exteriors of the Senior Staff lies the work of organizing papers, sending them to members, thinking through the decisions before us, and shaping the arguments that support our recommendations. This is important work.
I am deeply grateful to our Board volunteers who give so generously of their time to support these two institutions. I am equally grateful to my team, who work closely with each committee chair to ensure a smooth and effective experience.
Finally, I want to thank my Chief of Staff, Ms. Taryn Habberley. This is a demanding season, and she continues to manage a myriad of responsibilities—from conferences, my schedule, and meetings to the renovation of the Wilderness—while adding yet another item to her list: ensuring effective Board governance. Thank you, Taryn.
