The VTS Journal 2020-2021

Date: May 16, 2022

The VTS Journal 2020-2021: A Collection of Sermons and Lectures from Virginia Theological Seminary is now available. A record of some of the conversations that were had on The Holy Hill during our 197th academic year, the VTS Journal 2020-2021 is written by professors and visitors through lectures, sermons, and presentations. The Seminary is grateful for the ordained and lay theologians and experts who shared their wisdom, preached from their hearts, and lifted every voice.

Among those included in our third edition is an extraordinary collection of sermons from the Very Rev. Ian S. Markham, Ph.D., the Most Rev. Michael B. Curry, the Rt. Rev. Phoebe A. Roaf ’08, the Rt. Rev. James Mathes ’91, the Rev. Kate Sonderegger, Ph.D., the Rev. Canon Melanie Mullen ’12, the Rev. Michael Lapsley, the Rt. Rev. Carlye Hughes ’05, the Rev. Walter Earl Fluker, Ph.D., Gary Dorrien, Ph.D., and the Rev. James W. Farwell, Ph.D.

I am grateful for everyone’s participation, including our editor Christopher Poore ’24, cover designer Selena Robleto, and cover photographer Christin Lazo. Thank you.
