The Fall 2020 issue of the Virginia Theological Seminary magazine is now available. Please do take the time to read the rich compilation of interviews, research, and essays.
This is an issue that is worth keeping. The spotlight on Father Vincent Harris ’79 is powerful. The Seminary’s reparations research team shares an update on finding names of the hitherto nameless. The “Quartet for the End of Time” feature is the Rev. Katherine Grieb, Ph.D. at her most insightful and powerful. And articles by Rev. Robert Prichard, Ph.D., and Rev. Robert Heaney, Ph.D., D.Phil., are, as Rev. Joseph Thompson mentions, “bidirectional.” All of these pieces look to our individual and collective past while embracing the difficult work ahead. Again, I encourage you to take in all this issue has to offer.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this issue, with special thanks to the Communications Department – Curtis Prather, Elizabeth Panox-Leach, and Christin Lazo – who make this all possible.
The Very Rev. Ian S. Markham, Ph.D.
Dean and President
