I love the Deanery Evenings. I get to chat with some of our students. And tonight’s Deanery Evening is very special. The Rev. Brian Palmer has become THE priest at getting people involved in congregational life. The secret of congregational growth is involvement. The brave soul finds their way inside. To guarantee that the brave soul comes back, they need to join something. This is the Palmer secret. He knows how to get people to join something.
If you are free tonight, then please do come. You can register here. The pattern is very simple. Coffee and dessert starting at 7pm. It is all over by 8.30pm. And it would be lovely to see you there.
The joy of VTS is that there are these moments of learning outside the regular curriculum. It is called the informal curriculum. When I speak to alums, it is often these moments that are the most impactful. If you haven’t tried a Deanery evening, then please do tonight.
