Reorganization is a necessary part of navigating the ongoing work of VTS, and it reflects our commitment to stewarding our resources wisely. In this context, you may have noticed that Sharon Longley is no longer in the Welcome Center. We are delighted to share that she has moved to Pittsburgh and will begin a new position in the healthcare space that aligns closely with her professional aspirations.
As a result, we are pleased to welcome new energy into the Dean’s Office. Caryn Cabaniss, from Academic Affairs and Student Life (AASL), is joining the Dean’s Office as the Events and Hospitality Manager, a role that sits at the heart of our daily interactions and shared life. We are very much looking forward to her presence on our team and the gifts she will bring.
Caryn will continue to provide a warm and helpful welcome to all who enter the Welcome Center, ensuring the spirit of hospitality remains strong. She will also support major events organized through the Dean’s Office, contributing to their smooth planning and execution. In addition, she will provide valuable editorial support for Reviews in Religion and Theology, helping to sustain the excellence of this important publication.
