Yesterday, as families walked around the campus and enjoyed the opportunity to “treat or trick”, the Science Commission of the Anglican Communion were enjoying dinner in the Welcome Center.
It was a lovely occasion. Without exception, the organizers of the Science Commission were grateful. They appreciated the incidental conversations with staff and faculty. They appreciated the meals. They appreciated the hospitality and care. And they were especially grateful to the remarkable team in the Center of Anglican Studies – the Rev. Dr. Katherine Grieb, Ms. Hartley Wensing, and Ms. Melissa Allbrandt.
The Bishop of Oxford, right at the end of his remarks, took a moment to express his gratitude to the three students – Ms. Nonhlanhla Shezi, Mr. Daniel Bentley, and Ms.Addie Budnick. From the caterers to the center to the students, our guests were overwhelmed with gratitude. We had done some good work.
