It is wonderful to have Bishop Robinson in the neighborhood. And I am delighted today to welcome Bishop Robinson to Virginia Theological Seminary. He will be addressing a forum today at 1pm in LPER.
Recently I reached out to Bishop Robinson and asked him to write a chapter in a book that Kimberly Dunn and I were editing called “Experiencing God: Faith Narratives of Episcopalians.” His chapter is extraordinary. He tells his story with depth and warmth. His deep humanity comes pulsating through. The book is at the proof stage; needless to say, once it is published, readers of the commentary will be informed.
I am grateful for those who worked hard to invite Bishop Robinson to the campus. This will be a wonderful occasion.
