This is an alumni convention to remember. As the different classes return to the campus, they will discover spaces both familiar yet different. They are familiar because, apart from the Chapel and the family housing, we have not built new buildings; they are different because we have worked hard to renovate, enhance, and improve the campus.
Yesterday, we had an extraordinary program. We heard from Ms. Julieanna Richardson, founder and president of HistoryMakers. We celebrated the hard work of our partner – the African American Episcopal Historical Collection Panel – and announced our endowment campaign. And we heard last night from Bishop Gayle Harris. It was a fabulous day.
Today the story of all our alumni is front and central. We will learn about the past, appreciate those who are working hard in the present, and anticipate the work we are called to do in the future.
