It is a joy to welcome prospective students to Virginia Theological Seminary for the Fall visit day. I am grateful for the hard work of Kurt Ellison and Dan Coleman in the Admissions department.
A rich day is planned for our guests – a sample class, a tour of the chapel and the campus, and an opportunity to meet staff, students, and faculty. My prayer is that every guest has a good experience. Some will apply; others will go elsewhere. But I want this moment, this time on the campus, to be memorable and pleasant.
So, please everyone, do welcome our guests into our midst. Don’t just provide directions but take the time to walk them to the place where they need to be. Sit with them at lunch. Let us share the love of Christ with those who are making this journey.
