Give Today
Our extraordinary vision for VTS’ third century of ministry requires an unwavering foundation of annual support.
Relying on gifts of all sizes, the Annual Fund plays a vital role in sustaining VTS, making this yearly fundraising effort a top priority. Gifts to the Annual Fund at VTS are a powerful force for good in the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion: forming leaders, strengthening the Church, touching the lives of people in need of God’s love, and providing resources for ministry around the world.
The Seminary’s fiscal year ends June 30. Contributors to Virginia Theological Seminary are recognized in the Annual Report for each fiscal year and honored as members of the Seminary’s giving societies.

VTS celebrates the Anniversary of our founding in 1823 each October 15. Join the VTS community online or on-campus as we come together to support our Seminary and the future of the Episcopal Church.
This 24-hour event raises funds for the mission and ministry of Virginia Seminary while highlighting the importance of individual donors. Watch your inbox, social media, and mailbox for more information.

Thank You Day
We are thankful for our donors every day, and now we have a day dedicated to celebrating exactly how wonderful they are! Each May, as students, faculty, and staff wrap up the academic year, we pause to say thank you to the donors who contribute to the mission of Virginia Theological Seminary.
May 10th, 2019 was VTS’ first-ever “Thank You Day.” We celebrated our Annual Fund donors all day on campus and on social media, culminating in a festive gathering on campus.
The Seminary community has embraced this new tradition and we look forward to dedicating this special day to our beloved donors each year.
