
The AAEHC preserves and assists in researching the experiences of Black Episcopalians through institutional records, oral histories, personal papers, and media.
Travel Grant Program:
Thanks to a generous grant from the HSEC, the AAEHC is now accepting applications for its 2026–2027 research travel grants. Grants will reimburse researchers for travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses.
In 2025–2026, the AAEHC awarded $8,400 to three grantees, including its first international researcher from the Diocese of Tete (Anglican Province of Mozambique and Angola).
Deadline: April 30, 2026
Travel Period: Aug. 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027
