With a distinctive moral framework toward both technology and the common good, we believe the church has a unique opportunity to shape the ethic within which and imagination by which AI develops through fostering new practices, design, and theology for our ever-shifting world.
What do people know or want to learn about God? What speaks to their actual values and felt needs?
The church doesn’t exist for its own sake, but to draw people deeper into relationship with God. We create experiential tools and relational contexts that empower and enable every person—from skeptic to first-time visitor to long-time leader—to take the next best step along their spiritual journey.
What is the lived theology of later-gen Latinos? What can we learn from them and offer in return?
By 2045, the US will be minority white and the largest percentage of the new majority will be Latino. We want to meet Latinos where they already live and believe in order to cultivate a culturally and generationally richer church and to root predominantly white congregations in their changing neighborhoods.
What happens when Nones have kids? What new challenges and needs will 21st-century families face?
The meaning of “family” is both ancient and continuously evolving. The church is a multigenerational family (roughly 90 generations and counting!) with two millennia experience helping each generation of families, parents, and kids navigate the unique familial landscape of their time—a legacy we’re excited to continue.
