It is for the committed and the curious, lay and clergy eager to claim and explore their Christian vocations in today’s world. Lifelong Learning at VTS is a multi-faceted department grounded in theology and research-based practices to provide transformational learning for courageous leadership in a changing church.

A network for Christian Formation for the Episcopal Church and beyond. There are members from across the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, and Europe, who work ecumenically with several denominations including the Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Moravian, and Catholic communities.

A program to support VTS graduates in their first years of ministry through one-on-one mentorship as they integrate the foundations of classical theological education into the practice of ministry and spiritual leadership.

A grant initiative and multi-year process designed to leverage the strengths and address the challenges of a residential, denominational seminary to meet the urgent need for clergy and lay leaders trained as ministry developers in local, culturally specific contexts by shifting from the model where professional clergy are the sole minister that others gather around.
